General Production Worker - 2nd Shift Job Description We are seeking a diligent General Production Worker for the 2nd shift. You will be required to pass a tape measure test as part of the application process. Responsibilities Work at different stations as production requires. Inspect, weigh, and package products. Empty bailer when full. Assist and help prep rolls for machine operator. Monitor the flow of product into processing machinery. Verify compliance with quality, safety, and production standards. Ensure adherence to work rules and efficient operation of equipment. Report potential downtime, production scrap, and machine quality issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping around the bailer. Use a tape measure accurately. Essential Skills Experience in production and machine operation. Proficiency in packaging and cycle counts. General labor experience. Ability to use a tape measure effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6 months of prior warehouse or manufacturing experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing environment with running machines. Located in the Chambersburg, PA area, our startup offers a corporate location in Illinois. The position is a 2nd shift role with hours from Monday to Friday (5pm-3am) and Saturday (5pm-1am). Initial training occurs during the 1st shift from Monday to Friday (7am-5pm) and Saturday (7am-3pm). All employees must be flexible to work 10-hour days, including Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
