Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm and overtime, as needed Essential Functions: Prompt and reliable attendance Work required overtime schedules Read work instructions Obtain necessary information to complete orders Basic operation of a personal computer (ERP, Email, Excel, Word, etc) Graphics computer software skills in a Macintosh and Windows-based environment a plus. Manage time effectively to accomplish required work schedules on time and meeting established deadlines Communicate, troubleshoot and provide feedback to co-workers, Team/Group Leaders, Customer Service Representatives, engineers, management and others as necessary Clean work areas and machinery applying 6S methods Comply with all safety requirements Identify and sort parts, hat styles, brands, colors and suspension types Assemble headband suspensions Operate packaging machinery Operate pallet jack Operate pad printing equipment and ink mixing operations Inspect product for quality Pack finished product for shipment Keeping pace with automated equipment Verify that product and quantity are correct per order specifications Apply proper order labeling to shipment boxes Additional Functions as assigned: Maintain predetermined inventory levels of printed material for manufacturing and Marketing Communications Submit required Purchase Orders, stock, and ship printed materials from Kanban cards for manufacturing and from Literature Requests for Marketing Communications, Sales, customers, and distributors Set-up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on equipment for printing, trimming, cutting and folding documents, when necessary. Receive emails daily from bullardart.com replying to customer advising art status or requesting additional information, as well as notifying relevant internal contacts regarding status of email received Log and track status of all new, pending and approved jobs maintaining numeric log, assigning new plate numbers for each approved job, and maintaining backup computer files on disk for retrieval of artwork Design artwork and layouts for pad print orders using customer and Bullard stock logos Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space and aesthetic design concepts. Correspond with Bullard Customer Service Representative or customer regarding artwork issues - via email or phone Coordinate and process all paper proofs for customer approval for Bullard and ACS. Process paper proofs printing actual color proofs and distributing proofs to appropriate Bullard or ACS personnel for approval routing - accomplished through email, fax, mail, or disc copy Prepare complete art packets including art, film processing, template creation, decoration form, and any relevant paperwork for each approved job to be used by pad print.
