Electrical Assembler Job Description As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for building components and assembling them onto drones and Military All Terrain Vehicles (M-ATVs) according to blueprint specifications for the armed forces. This role involves providing routine technical support to engineers on standard components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment. Responsibilities Perform basic electrical and/or mechanical assemblies. Read blueprints and use tools to connect parts. Perform quality control checks and maintain a clean and safe work area. Prepare products for assembly, including mechanical, harness, cable, and printed circuit board sub-assemblies. Conduct visual inspections of products or sub-assemblies using work instructions, models, and/or drawings. Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation of screws, washers, and nuts with a basic understanding of build documentation. Conduct pull-tests and verify tooling using hand tools and torque wrenches. Interpret work instructions and assemble multiple units in an assembly process. Perform basic troubleshooting. May be required to perform specialized manufacturing duties such as wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving. Essential Skills Familiarity with basic hand tools and their operation. Understanding of blueprints and wiring schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma. Ability to walk, sit, stand, stoop, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
