Shipping & Receiving / Production Associate Job Overview This position combines shipping and receiving duties with hands-on production work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. You will support inventory movement, order fulfillment, and general production tasks while working closely with a small team. The role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a strong focus on safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Move, organize, and stage materials and finished goods for storage or shipment Package, label, and prepare orders according to shipping requirements Count and track inventory and report low stock levels Load and unload pallets using material-handling equipment Maintain organized warehouse and storage areas Assist with general housekeeping, recycling, and workplace organization Deliver and pick up parts or materials locally as needed Perform basic assembly and production tasks using hand and power tools Operate production or molding equipment following standard procedures Inspect finished products, document results, and report defects Support multiple departments as needed to meet production goals Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of shipping, warehouse, or production experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organization Valid driver's license Forklift experience or willingness to become certified Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools Comfortable performing general production and machine operation tasks Basic math and measurement skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with inventory control or cycle counting Background in manufacturing, assembly, or packaging Willingness to cross-train and learn new processes Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE use Work Environment First-shift schedule Clean, climate-controlled facility Small team environment with hands-on training Exposure to noise, dust, and production materials Casual dress with required safety gear as needed Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CALEDONIA, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
