• Responsible for all Material Handling operations and inventory control. Collaborates with Purchasing and planning to ensure the smooth flow of raw material into and through the plant. Executes process improvement in all areas. Executes processes and programs to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Maintains accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and implementing strategies to prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Oversee the storage and handling of materials in operations ensuring proper labeling and organization.
• Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with production teams, logistics providers, and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
• Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
• Implements new processes and procedures to ensure the ERP system accurately reflects the current state of inventory.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
• 7-10 years of experience in Supply Chain roles at a manufacturer
• Experience managing an hourly workforce
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with vendors
• Understanding of supply chain principles and logistics
• Experience in cost management and budgeting
• Leadership skills to manage a team of warehouse personnel
• This position may require:

• Field, Branch, Shop, & Plant Positions: This position operates in an industrial/field environment. The role requires working in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials. While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Work in confined spaces when required
• Operate heavy equipment and power tools
• Perform repetitive movements

• Exposure to loud noise levels requiring hearing protection
• Work in high places and confined spaces
• Exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals
• Work around moving mechanical parts
• Work in hot and cold temperatures
