ABOUT THE ROLE

Tessera is seeking a hardworking Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Worker with a positive, can-do attitude to support grounds operations at FE Warren AFB.

This is a seasonal position expected to run through approximately November 30, 2026.

KEY DUTIES
Mow grass using walk-behind and riding mowers
Operate grounds equipment (trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, small tools)
Trim, edge, and maintain landscaped areas
Prune shrubs, hedges, and trees for health and appearance
Water lawns, trees, shrubs, and landscaped areas
Remove debris, litter, branches, and obstacles prior to mowing
Clean sidewalks, parking lots, and hard surfaces after mowing
Collect and dispose of landscape waste and debris
Maintain shrubs, groundcover, and trees to standards
Remove storm debris, fallen limbs, and wind damage materials
Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Willingness to learn grounds maintenance tasks (training provided)
Ability to safely operate basic grounds equipment
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion for long periods
Outdoor physical work in varying weather conditions
Ability to work under time-sensitive conditions
Ability to climb in/out of vehicles and use stairs as needed

REQUIREMENTS
Valid drivers license preferred (must be insurable)
Must meet federal installation access requirements (REAL ID or approved ID such as U.S. passport or military ID)
Must be able to obtain and maintain base access/security clearance
