Compensation/Shift/Benefits for Rod Mill Operator Hourly wage: $19/ +$.75 after training Shift: Monday-Friday 12am-8am / will train on 1st shift Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO Eligibility for the Work and Win program - Rent/Mortgage paid for a year Responsibilities of Rod Mill Operator Sets up and strings up the rod mill for production Operates rod mill to draw copper rod into various wire gauge sizes Stages coils, loads payoffs, and welds coils together Sets up coiler, stages empty stems, and removes completed stems Monitors and maintains drawing dies and drawing solution Logs production output and downtime in the OHM system Maintains housekeeping and safe work practices in assigned work area Requirements for Rod Mill Operator Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pull wire with force Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, and reach as needed Ability to work assigned shift and overtime Experience with machine operation and Basic Computer Skills Ability to operate powered industrial equipment Good attendance and reliability #TJCCincy Apply now View All Jobs
