1st shift- Machine Operators

Machine Operator Wage: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Machine Operator position at a company in Saint Louis, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Load raw materials or parts into CNC machines. - Start and stop machine cycles (push-button operation). - Monitor machines while running to ensure proper operation. - Remove finished parts and prepare for the next cycle. - Perform basic visual and measurement inspections on parts. - Use basic measuring tools (calipers, gauges) to check quality. - Keep machines stocked with materials to avoid downtime. - Clear chips/scrap and keep work area clean. - Report any issues, defects, or machine problems to leads or supervisors. - Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. - Repetitive, hands-on work running the same machines. - Standing for long periods in a hot manufacturing environment. - Fast-paced production with quotas or output expectations. - Minimal programmingmost machines are already set up by higher-level machinists. Machine Operator Requirements: - Manufacturing, warehouse, or machine experience preferred. - Ability to use basic measurement tools or willingness to learn. - Good attention to detail and reliability. - Ability to lift ~30-50 lbs. and stand for full shift. - Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
