Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a Machine Operator - Press & Punch Brake to join a leading manufacturing organization focused on delivering high-quality electrical solutions. This individual will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press and punch press machinery to support daily production needs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adnce to quality standards.This is a hands-on role working closely with production teams to meet output goals while maintaining a strong focus on safety and precision.What You Will Experience In This Position-Set up and run brake press and punch press machinery, including choosing tooling and adjusting programs.-Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job routings to determine machine settings and production requirements.- Perform trial runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and part consistency.- Conduct in-process inspections, verifying parts meet tolerances and quality standards.- Follow safety protocols, maintain clean work areas, and perform minor maintenance.- Meet daily production targets for accuracy, speed, and quality while minimizing waste.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments w people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HRinsightglobal.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: insightglobal/workforce-privacy-policy/.Skills and RequirementsKey Responsibilities- Set up and operate brake press and punch press machines, including selecting tooling and adjusting programs- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job routings to determine machine settings and production requirements- Perform trial runs and adjustments to ensure part accuracy and consistency- Conduct in-process inspections, verifying parts meet tolerances and quality standards- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety protocols- Perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed- Meet daily production targets for quality, efficiency, and output while minimizing wasteRequired Skills:-High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus.- 1-3 years of experience working with brake press or punch press machinery in a manufacturing setting.- Proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop math.- Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges.- Good mechanical competence and problem-solving skills.- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.- Experience with CNC/programmed brake press equipment preferred.- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or 5S is advantage Nice to Have:- Experience with CNC/programmed brake press equipment- Familiarity with lean manufacturing / 5S principles- Additional technical or trade school education
