Inventory Specialist - Night Shift Job Description As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. You will be tasked with receiving and counting stock items, dispatching parts, and recording data to maintain accurate inventory levels. Additionally, you will run inventory reports, store items in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas, and inspect parts received, recording any damage, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications. Responsibilities Verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments. Prepare work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders. Clean supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas. Report broken tools. Load and unload using a sit-down forklift. Operate an overhead crane. Issue tools, equipment, and supplies to personnel. Essential Skills 2+ years of inventory experience. Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift. Experience with ERP systems/RF Scanners. Order pulling/picking experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with heavy forklifts (36K). Familiarity with reach trucks. Experience operating a cherry picker. Experience with an overhead crane. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will be working in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. We currently have multiple openings for on the 2nd and 3rd shift, with shift hours from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The 3rd shift operates from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77065. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
