What Youll Be Doing (Day-to-Day)

This role is all about being active, present, and engaged :

Be the Face of Safety on the Floor

• Lead new hire safety training and onboarding
• Run toolbox talks and keep safety top-of-mind for teams
• Spend your day on the floor coaching, guiding, and reinforcing safe behaviors

Help Prevent Incidents Before They Happen

• Track and document incidents, near misses, and first aid cases
• Assist with investigations and help identify root causes
• Support solutions that actually fix problemsnot just paperwork

Own the PPE Program

• Make sure employees have the right gear for the job
• Manage PPE inventory and ordering
• Ensure compliance and help standardize expectations across teams

Inspect, Identify, Improve

• Perform safety checks (fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, first aid kits)
• Spot hazards, housekeeping issues, and risks during walkthroughs
• Help drive issues through to resolutionnot just identify them

Keep Things Organized & Compliant

• Maintain training logs, inspection records, and safety documentation
• Support overall compliance and audit readiness

What You Bring

• 1+ year of experience in safety, EHS, or similar environment
• Background in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting
• Confidence to train, communicate, and engage with teams
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Willingness to be on your feet and in the action daily

Bonus Points If You Have

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (or willing to get it)
• Knowledge of LOTO, machine guarding, forklifts, or HazCom
• Bilingual skills

• Fully onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Active role involving walking the floor, interacting with employees, and driving safety improvements

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vacaville, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
