Plant Manager needed to oversee manufacturing operations across blending, packing, plant services, and inventory control while driving safety, quality, production, and cost performance. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

7+ years of manufacturing operations experience

Chemical manufacturing experience preferred

3+ years of supervisory or management experience

Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and quality standards

Knowledge of production systems and manufacturing operations

Experience managing blending, packing, plant services, or inventory control operations

Experience overseeing production schedules, staffing, workflow, and resources

Experience managing operating costs and supporting annual budgets

Experience tracking and reporting operational metrics

Experience with raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory management

Preferred Skills Chemical blending or packaging experience

Lean certification

Six Sigma certification

ERP or MRP system experience

Experience implementing Lean, 5S, or similar improvement initiatives

Experience supporting audits, inspections, and corrective actions

Experience developing training programs for manufacturing teams

Experience with root cause analysis for inventory accuracy or production issues

Job Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across blending, packing, plant services, and inventory control departments

Ensure production schedules are completed safely, efficiently, and within quality specifications

Direct department managers and supervisors on staffing, workflow, and resource planning

Lead daily production meetings and cross-functional coordination

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and quality standards

Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions

Drive process improvements to improve efficiency and product quality

Implement Lean, 5S, or similar continuous improvement initiatives

Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain production reliability

Provide performance management for department leaders and production teams

Develop training programs to support team capability

Ensure accurate inventory management across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods

Collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Service on production and inventory needs

Monitor inventory accuracy and drive root cause analysis

Track and report key operational metrics

Develop annual budgets and manage operating costs

Support strategic planning for manufacturing operations
