Plant Director (RDW)

Our client is a leading manufacturer of frozen dessert products. They are one of the longest running independent companies within this category. Due to a recent change, they are looking for a high-profile candidate for a Plant Director role for their flagship site in the Madison, WI area. The Plant Director will function as the site leader and manage all operations of the facility. They will instill a World Class Culture with focus on safe work practices, food safety & quality compliance, customer centricity and profitability. They will play a pivotal role in developing a high caliber team, implementing cutting-edge systems and processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. They must demonstrate strong leadership, communication and change management skills, fostering a collaborative and data-driven work environment. This person will report directly to the SVP of Operations for the company. Our client needs someone with a track record of producing results. Here are a few of the minimum qualifications they seek in a potential candidate. Bachelors degree, ideally in an engineering discipline or related field Multiple years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food/beverage industry Strong understanding of manufacturing systems (ERP, WMS) and process improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) Proven experience in cultural transformation and change management in a fast-paced environment Bilingual English/Spanish a plus This is an excellent opportunity with a company who is embarking on the next chapter in their growth.
