Our product line includes gaskets, o-rings, seals, molded products, die-cut foams, and many other specific products for all kinds of sealing applications. We provide superior products to our customers across many industries, including: Automotive, Medical, Military, Aerospace, Electronics, Power Generation, Hydraulics, and HVAC.

Supervises, coaches, and trains Production Associates to ensure efficient operation of machines through work planning and assignment, job set-up, material selection, tool, machine and facility maintenance and problem solving.

Pay Range: $25-$30/hour

LMA - Leads, Manages and holds accountable all direct reports

o Actively participates in the vetting, selection and onboarding process

o Monitors efficiency and productivity to ensure expectations are met or exceeded

o Provides training on equipment

o Provides hands-on trouble shooting assistance

o Communicates the daily schedule via daily huddles

o Conducts regular coaching (formal and JIT)

o Conducts performance reviews and facilitates disciplinary actions as necessary

Meets or exceeds department KPIs

o Safety, Quality, Efficiency, 5S

Facilitates continuous improvement processes to create efficiency and reduce costs

Effectively utilizes MRP software for planning and scheduling

Sets up jobs in accordance with departmental needs to ensure maximum efficiency and quality

Limits job write offs with regards to material and equipment usage

Ensures that all materials are available and ready for fabrication at the machine location

Performs first-piece inspection for all new fabrication runs, when necessary

Qualifies first-piece fabrication product and performs random quality checks as indicated by the quality specifications; has the authority to stop production when needed to correct quality problems

Completes routine auditing and inspection of shop floor activities to ensure compliance with manufacturing, customer and quality requirements

Initiates the non-conformance process; identifies preventive actions and continual improvement opportunities

Interfaces with Sales Department to understand all dimensional and customer specifications in order to resolve any issues and updates to specific requirements

Ensures that dies are maintained and stored properly; moves dies between equipment and die racks

Ensures that preventative maintenance is current and performs maintenance functions as necessary

Enforces safety policies and practices to ensure culture of health and safety; identifies safety hazards and works with management team on corrective actions

Requirements

Associates degree (AA) in a technical discipline and 1-2 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Proficiency working in a computer supported environment with business software and Microsoft office programs

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools

Mechanical/technical aptitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow; able to multi-task
