You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Staff - Level 4 for the Manufacturing Engineering team which is responsible for developing kit tooling that enables engineering changes on Flight Test and postdelivery F35 aircraft.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Staff - Level 4 you will be responsible for creating and qualifying the tooling needed to execute structural modifications across all three F35 variants.
"Your responsibilities will include:"
- Perform producibility analyses and develop tooling concepts for engineering change implementation.
- Design, review, and procure kit tools required for flighttest and postdelivery modifications.
- Create detailed usage instructions and installation guides for each modification.
- Provide periodic onsite technical support at depot and operational locations to validate kit tooling before depotmod integration.
- Collaborate with flighttest, depot, and engineering teams to ensure modifications address limitedlife issues effectively.

- Experience working in an Operations role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance, the selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secretclearance to start.-Strong oral and written communication skills
- Prior experience in the aircraft industry
- Experience in 3D modeling and analysis
- Demonstrated experience developing manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control.
- Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and principles as well as work measurements and labor standards
- Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS office, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Determinant Assembly
