What Youll Do:
- Support ongoing manufacturing process improvement initiatives across production operations
- Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Observe workflows and assist in implementing Lean manufacturing initiatives
- Partner with the Production Manager to identify waste, downtime, process variation, and operational bottlenecks
- Help develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, consistency, and throughput
- Collect, track, and organize production data including:
- Cycle times
- Scrap rates
- Downtime
- Throughput metrics
- Analyze trends and estimate the impact of operational improvements
- Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and production teams
- Assist with workflow standardization and process documentation
- Support quality improvement and continuous improvement projects on the manufacturing floor
- Maintain a hands-on presence within operations and production environments

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data tracking
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, or operations environments
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Background in process engineering, mechanical systems, industrial operations, or chemistry-related manufacturing
- Experience collecting and analyzing production metrics
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Chemistry, or related field
- Experience working with production teams to implement workflow improvements
