Filed Services Technicians

Field Service Engineer – Manufacturing company that specializes in food and Beverages and large CaPX machinery

• Compensation: $35–$40/hr (Base); $40+/hr with hands-on experience.
• Role: Perform installation, commissioning, and complex troubleshooting on high-speed industrial/manufacturing equipment.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in mechanical systems (precision alignment, pneumatics/hydraulics) and solid electrical fundamentals (schematics, VFDs, safety circuits). PLC (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and Robotics (Fanuc, Kuka, ABB) exposure required.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years hands-on technical experience (3–7 years typical). strong preference for 2+ years in Food & Beverage.
• Travel & Requirements: 80–90% travel readiness (2–6 week cycles). Must be physically capable, customer-focused, a reliable troubleshooter, and able to secure a credit card for travel expenses.

Skills: Electro-mechanical/automation troubleshooting (PLCs, robotics, industrial systems) Automation Profile

• PLC exposure (programming, modifications, edits)

• PLCs: B&R and Siemens prioritized; also Allen Bradley, Schneider, Rockwell • Robotics experience (Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Epson)

• HMI familiarity

• Recent controls/automation graduates acceptable

salary: $72,800 - $84,200 per year

Responsibilities

Perfom installation, commissining, assembly and precission alignment of industrial systems.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 7 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
