Position Summary Generic SummaryManages repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipments and utilities including:
Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments
Installing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing facilities infrastructure
Making/machining replacement tools and parts for manufacturing operations
Planning and prioritizing work orders and scheduling overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions
The Maintenance Technician 3 is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment at our facility. This role requires a higher level of technical expertise and autonomy compared to a lower level maintenance technician, with a focus on complex troubleshooting, repairs, continuous improvement, and mentoring.
Local Primary Duties Perform advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems independently
Contribute to root-cause analysis efforts to prevent recurring equipment issues
Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians
Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols
Utilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
3+ years of related experience Intermediate to advanced level troubleshooting, schematic and print reading, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls experience required
Minimum 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of electro-mechanical systems
Associates Degree perferred with experience in electro-mechanical, high-speed manufacturing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
Experience working in a cGMP/Regulated environment desired
Able to read ladder logic and troubleshoot/repair PLCs, electrical systems, AC/DC drive systems, and mechanical systems desired
Proficiency in machining, welding, and fabricating a plus
Basic Computer Skills required; must be experienced and proficient in the use of email, Windows Operating Systems, and basic Microsoft Office tools (specifically Word & Excel)
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Associates Degree perferred with experience in electro-mechanical, high-speed manufacturing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
