Manufacturing Planner - Early Professional - 2nd Shift

THE WORK

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Planner. In this role, you will be a critical member of the production operations team, helping to build the worlds most advanced radar systems.

Manufacturing planners are responsible for managing all material on the production floor, from a tiny screw to a 30 foot tall Vertical Launching System Module.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of material and supply chain management, lean manufacturing principles, and Microsoft office tools such as excel.

Please Note: This is for a 2nd Shift role and requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in supply chain management and the analytical skills necessary to coordinate complex material requirements. You possess the ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms to ensure seamless production operations.

A level 2 employee is typically an early professional and has around 1+ years of professional experience.

#GDOPS Degree from an accredited college in a Business, STEM or similarly related discipline (i.e. supply chain management, mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering, etc.)
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement or other relevant area.
Experience using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Teams)
Experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on
multiple platforms

Understanding of MRP / supply and demand management.
