About The Role

Reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain on all matters. The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the receiving process of materials and supplies.

Duties are responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Communication order acknowledgement once order has been received;
  • Receive incoming shipments of materials and supplies, verifying quantities and inspecting for quality and accuracy;
  • Collaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate deliveries;
  • Maintain accurate records of received materials, including packing slips, purchase orders, and other relevant documentation;
  • Input data not the inventory management system and keep electronic and hardcopy records up to date;
  • Report and document any damaged or non-complaint items and work with the appropriate departments to address issues;
  • Work closely with Production and Warehouse department to prioritize materials and ensure a smooth flow of goods;
  • Process all customer orders via telephone and email;
  • Consistently update all spreadsheets with any information provided by different sources;
  • Sort and organize any paperwork to ensure data is not lost;
  • Create purchasing orders when needed;
  • Review paperwork for data deficiencies; and
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Director of Supply Chain.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • College Diploma or equivalent; and
  • Purchasing Certificate is considered an asset.

Years of Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of Work Experience in a Manufacturing Coordination Role; and
  • Knowledge of ERP is an asset.

Work Location

  • On site, Office setting;
  • Work environment requires wearing PPE in certain other locations; and
  • Flexible to work overtime as required.
