Machine Operator -2nd Shift

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Machine Operator -2nd Shift to join their team. As a Machine Operator -2nd Shift, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator -2nd Shift

Location: West Des Moines, IA

Pay Range: $19 hour with a $1 differential for 2nd shift

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM)

What's the Job?

• Follow blueprints, guidelines, and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Perform troubleshooting, calibrations, or modifications of hardware, fixtures, and software.
• Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify systems and components/assemblies.
• Maintain records of production and report any issues while following standard procedures.
• Assist in reworking and repairing mechanical and electromechanical systems and components as needed.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn and train on calibration-specific operations.
• Basic understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Willingness to work extended shifts/overtime as required.
