Job Summary:
Install inspect maintain and repair commercial and automatic door systems in a healthcare facility. Ensure doors operate safely and meet all safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install inspect repair and maintain door systems and automatic door mechanisms
• Adjust doors and electric openers for proper operation
• Test mechanical and electrical components
• Repair or replace damaged door parts and hardware
• Install door hardware and fixtures
• Run basic wiring and connect door systems
• Read blueprints diagrams and technical manuals
• Perform preventive maintenance on door systems
• Maintain work logs inspections and work orders
• Coordinate with staff vendors and safety teams
• Ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years experience as a commercial or automatic door technician
• Fire door certification preferred
• AAADM certification preferred or ability to obtain
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
• Strong communication and follow up skills
• Driver license with clean record required
• Experience with maintenance systems preferred

Salary:

• $25 - $32 hourly
