Press Brake Operator

Our client, a commercial kitchen equipment manufacturing company, is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join their team in Wayne, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and form metal components with precision, working from technical drawings and blueprints to meet exact specifications. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD files to understand dimensions and production requirements Select and install correct dies and punches (tooling) and adjust back gauging and tonnage settings accordingly Enter specifications into CNC systems or manual controls to dictate bend depth and angle Inspect bent parts using measuring tools including calipers and protractors to verify they match blueprint tolerances Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake machinery to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times Requirements: Prior experience in a manufacturing plant, machine shop, or metal fabrication environment required Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong math skills with the ability to apply measurements and tolerances accurately Proficient in the use of measuring tools including calipers and protractors Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing precise, quality work Ability to perform basic machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Pay & Schedule: Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM Equal Opportunity Employment Lyneer Staffing Solutions is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
