1+ year of experience with manufacturing and quality management principles, tools, and processes
Experience managing safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency performance metrics
Experience enforcing company policies, practices, procedures, and work rules
Experience coordinating with supply management, engineering, operations, human resources, or labor relations
Ability to work overtime on weekdays or weekends as needed to support operational requirements and on-time delivery
Preferred Skills 1+ year of experience with production control systems
1+ year of leadership experience in a union environment
2+ years of experience with shop floor manufacturing systems
Experience with incentive pay systems such as CIPP
Cross-functional experience in manufacturing engineering, quality, material control, or supply management
Experience using lean manufacturing techniques
Working knowledge of operations systems and tools, including Word, Excel, SAP, SharePoint, and PowerBI
Experience with 5S implementation
Experience with manpower planning and operating budgets
Experience with Safety and Ergonomic Risk Assessment processes
Job Responsibilities Manage and monitor individual and department performance related to safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency
Take corrective action, including discipline, when performance standards are not met
Ensure assigned personnel have required training, work instructions, and tooling
Lead safety communications and support safety engagement activities
Drive participation in continuous improvement and Safety and Ergonomic Risk Assessment processes
Prompt near-miss reporting and support safety corrective actions
Manage daily staffing and employee movement on the production line
Support daily production and warehousing requirements
Oversee production activities to ensure manufactured products meet established quality requirements
Support department-level factory goals related to 5S, continuous improvement, manpower planning, and operating budgets
