Production Supervisor in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

As an ISC Production Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes at our designated site. You will ensure that production goals are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will lead a team of production workers, manage resources, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production operations.

In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and productivity of our production operations. By ensuring that production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed, you will contribute to the success and growth of the company. Your leadership and management skills will foster a positive work environment and drive employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the day-to-day production operations within the assigned department

Lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance

Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and production targets

Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance efficiency and quality

Collaborate with cross functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of products

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and implement best practices

Conducts performance reviews bi-annually

Maintains Key performance Indicators to track and improve team performance

Assign capacity and resources to fulfill customer requirements and balance with factory needs

Develop and oversee production plans along with Planning and Program Management

Utilize strong people skills to align team members toward common business and performance goals

Provides daily resources for products requiring assembly, daily status of key work orders to ensure schedules are met

Assures that tools, procedures, trained personnel, work instructions are in place

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of products

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and implement best practices to optimize production processes

YOU MUST HAVE

4 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

2 years of experience in supervising and/or leading production teams and processes.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

WE VALUE

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience in electrical component sub-assembly manufacturing

Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Aerospace or Defense Industry experience.

Active security clearance strongly preferred.

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Knowledge of industry best practices and safety standards.
