Tool & Die Machinist

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of dies for a safe, clean, productive and economical operation that fully supports press production.Duties: Repair and maintain production and stamping diesExperience working with large progressive, transfer and deep draw diesAbility to Tig weldRework of damaged components in a timely mannerMaintain a clean and safe workplaceCoordinate with manufacturing the dies to be repairedTroubleshoot problems to determine solutionsFollow standard work and training for all work activitiesAdhere to all Safety and Quality policies and proceduresAble to lift/push/pull/ up to 50lbs occasionallyAble to walk/stand/crouch/bend constantly throughout assigned shiftMust have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels and departments in the Production floorSkills and Qualifications:- High School diploma or GED, required- Completion of a four-year Tool and Die Apprenticeship Program, required- Knowledge and ability to work with high strength steel- Automotive Stamping experience a plusJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $20.00 - $33.00 per hourSchedule: 8 hour shiftEvening shiftMonday to FridayNight shift
