Lead and supervise shift employees to meet production targets for volume, quality, and material recovery.
Monitor and accurately log daily shift metrics using internal systems and spreadsheets.
Provide real-time coaching and feedback to improve employee performance and attendance.
Diagnose equipment issues and determine whether in-house or external maintenance is required.
Assist in training new hires and filling in as a back-up equipment operator or maintenance tech as needed.
Enforce safety and environmental standards, including dust mitigation, stormwater policies, and internal audits.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance with landfill and operational regulations.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or GED required
3–5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing setting
Familiarity with welding, mechanical repairs, and basic electrical systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience directing maintenance personnel and overseeing shift operations
Strong communication and leadership skills
Valid driver’s license required
