CNC Operator

CNC Operator Wage: $17/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday Join a fast-growing Monticello shop building high-quality parts for top industries. We're seeking motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operators. This role involves operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet customer specifications. Candidates must maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate professionalism, and work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. This is an associate to hire role. CNC Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications - Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T, to ensure accuracy - Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools - Load and unload materials and finished parts (up to 50 pounds) - Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals - Complete daily production and quality documentation - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines CNC Operator Requirements: - Previous CNC operating experience required - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T - Experience using machinist measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, ID gauges, etc.) - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Positive attitude and professional work ethic - Willingness to learn, train, and cross-train in multiple areas - Ability to stand, walk, and bend for up to 10 hours per shift - Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 pounds - Equipment used includes CNC machines, micrometers, calipers, step gauges, and ID gauges - Work is performed in a manufacturing/production environment - Overtime may be required based on production needs - Must follow all PPE and safety requirements IND091 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
