Forklift Operator Trainee

ResourceMFG is hiring Forklift Operators! Location: Lafayette Shifts: 6:00am-6:00pm OR 6:00pm-6:00am Pay starts: $18.50, potential for raises at 90 and 180 days Training Required on 8-hour days for up to 6 weeks (7am-4pm) Work Environment: Safety first, Quality over Quantity Job Summary: Work with SAP system when moving material Inspect forklift daily Documents work according to standards Learns and executes basic job operations Learns relevant policies and procedures and applies them to the job Reads, understands and follows the Safety and Environmental cautions provided with the Batch Production record, MSDS or other safety and environmental guidance Maintains facility housekeeping to be inspection ready at all times Performs transactions in SAP Performs raw material movements throughout the plant site Completes cycle counts of raw materials Helps prepare materials for shipments Helps investigate inventory discrepancies Completes building inspections and documents findings accurately Assists Evonik operators for processing tasks At ResourceMFG Associate We Offer You: Weekly Pay (Direct Deposit or ATM Debit Card available) Job Requirements: High School Diploma or HSE Valid driver's license and driver privileges Resume 1 year manufacturing experience OR related pharmaceutical experience preferred but not required Attention to detail Strong trouble shooting skills
