Experience supporting manufacturing processes and production environments

Preferred Skills Epicor 10 experience

5 to 7 years of manufacturing environment experience

Welding process experience

Machining process experience

CNC machining experience

Metal fabrication experience

Military specifications and requirements experience

Welding requirements and specifications experience

Experience writing detailed work instructions and specifications

APQP experience

PFMEA experience

Control Plan experience

Process Flow experience

Supplier technical requirement experience

Job Responsibilities Support successful transition of new products from development to production

Collaborate with R D Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, Quality, and Materials teams on project specifications and procedures

Assess product manufacturability with R D Engineering

Participate in design reviews and approval phases

Evaluate tooling and equipment requirements for production and manufacturing

Support product design changes after production release

Assist Quality Control with inspection criteria development

Support Root Cause and Corrective Action activities for development and production issues

Create, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes

Create, maintain, and improve workflow documentation

Develop and improve assembly fixtures for product development and production

Submit Engineering Change Requests for review and approval

Review and approve Engineering Change Orders

Collaborate with Materials teams to develop supplier technical requirements

Support supplier issue resolution

Maintain product Bills of Materials in ERP systems

Create and maintain Methods of Manufacturing in ERP systems

Coordinate with Quality Assurance on production and manufacturing issues

Support disposition of non-conforming products

Provide technical engineering support to Production and Manufacturing

Support APQP processes, including PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow

Create and maintain production work instructions
