Sanitation Crew Member

2nd Shift (4pm – 12pm) Sanitation Crew Member

Pay: $18-21 per hour based on experience

We're looking for a dedicated and reliable Sanitation Crew Member to join our food production team. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sanitation duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting equipment and work areas within the food production facilities.
• Execute all SQF (Safe Quality Food) CIP's (Cleaning-in-Place) and other mandatory sanitation practices.
• Safely operate and maintain cleaning machinery, such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and vacuums.
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals and sanitation agents according to strict safety and food safety protocols.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to sanitation, safety, and hygiene.
• Work independently to complete assigned tasks as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning role is required, preferably in a food production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate various cleaning machinery.
• Knowledge of proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours, and nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
