QC Flex needs a Production/QC Flex Specialist to join their team in Rock Island, IL.

What does a Production/QC Flex Specialist do?
Assist the QC Flex Manager by coordinating production, machinery, and training efforts to ensure timely task completion. Revise job sheets to enhance safety, quality, and clarity of process steps. Collaborate with staff to efficiently organize and track training and activities. Participate in staffing meetings, provide supervision, and proactively schedule training and production tasks. Coordinate materials, equipment, and supplies, perform machinery maintenance, and oversee inventory management. Support time studies and bidding processes to ensure proper cost margins are maintained, and foster customer satisfaction through effective communication and high-quality work. Keep comprehensive production records for payroll, job costing, and billing purposes. Promote a safe, clean, and organized workspace by adhering to safety protocols. Operate equipment safely during materials movement. Assist with document destruction in compliance with NAID guidelines to meet audit requirements.
What hours would I be working? This position is scheduled to work 35 hours per week, which is considered full-time and provides access to benefits. The schedule is a Monday-through-Friday position, starting work in the late morning/early afternoon and ending around 7PM or 8PM. The schedule would be discussed during the first in-person interview. This position does require flexibility to market business services as needed.
What are the minimum requirements for this position?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must have a current and valid driver's license with appropriate auto insurance.
- Successful passing of pre-employment drug test; successful passing of random drug tests.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate total project efforts.
- Production and computer experience required .
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
- Strength and flexibility to perform production work. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand/work on your feet for 90% or more of your scheduled shift.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Satisfactory completion of forklift certification before or within 60 days of employment.
