You will be a Manufacturing Planner for the Manufacturing Planning Team. Our team is responsible for optimizing production schedules, managing bill of materials, and ensuring material flow efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and execute makebuy and BOM planning strategies.
Maintain and adjust MRP parameters, lead times, and lot sizes.
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and operations to align production schedules.
Monitor shopfloor performance and expedite material flow to meet customer commitments.
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and inventory discrepancies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders.
Experience/Proficiency in SAP MRP, Microsoft Office, APRISO and production scheduling.
Knowledge of production planning and scheduling principles, including MRP, lead times, and inventory management.
Understanding of manufacturing operations.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and mitigate errors and discrepancies.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance. Green Belt trained / certified.
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge.
Knowledge of Material Management and
Accounting System (MMAS).
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification.
