Job Description:
You will be the Production Test & Assembly Engineer on Second Shift for the Missile Assembly team. Our team is responsible for technical aspects of missile final assembly, integration, and test operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Pike County Operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Production Test & Assembly Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical support to ensure the successful manufacture of missiles. You will play a critical role in developing and supporting assembly processes and test procedures, on a 2ndshift schedule (MonThurs 3:30PM2:00AM).
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting automated test and assembly operations.
- Preparing work instructions and test procedures from engineering data and conducting detailed failure analysis.
- Evaluating non-conformances and developing rootcause and corrective/preventative actions.
- Interpreting engineering data and supporting electromechanical integration and assembly.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secretclearance to start.
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited college in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline at the Bachelor level or above and 1+ years professional experience; Or 6 years of related professional experience.- Working knowledge / experience of electronic testing methods in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics.
- Demonstrate a high level of mechanical hands-on assembly abilities to perform or assist in missile assembly and test along with repairing nonoperating tools and equipment.
- Must be willing and able to work 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 3:30PM- 2:00AM).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) background check to obtain approval to be an employee possessor (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
