Senior Manufacturing Engineers

Kforce's client, a growing engineering technology company, is hiring Senior Manufacturing Engineers (direct with hiring manager). These roles are 100% onsite and highly hands-on within a machine shop environment. We are working directly with the hiring manager on these search assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead transition of new products from R&D into production
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturability; participate in design reviews
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes
  • Develop work instructions, methods of manufacturing, and BOMs (ERP)
  • Support RCCA, process improvements, and engineering change activity (ECR/ECO)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Materials, and Production
  • Provide direct technical support on the shop floor
  • Partner with suppliers on technical requirements and issue resolution* BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related)
  • 5-7+ years of experience in manufacturing (machine shop environment required)
  • Strong experience implementing Manufacturing Processes
  • Strong hands-on experience with machining, assembly, and fabrication
  • Proven tooling/fixture design experience (SolidWorks or similar)
  • GD&T expertise
  • Experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100D environments
  • Strong ERP experience (BOMs, methods of manufacturing)
  • Demonstrated RCCA and process improvement experience
  • Ability to work closely with operators/technicians on the floor

Preferred:

  • Supplier/process development and customer interface experience
  • Quoting or cost estimation exposure.
  • Experience with CNC Machinery

Profile:Ideal candidates are highly hands-on engineers who can translate design into efficient manufacturing processes, balancing shop floor execution with documentation and CAD responsibilities.
