Also performs mechanical tasks as applicable to paint production. Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma Manual painting experience in an assembly shop environment preferred. Ability to properly mix industrial paints per written procedures and regulations. Ability to manage time in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read prints. Ability to properly utilize required PPE & follow all safety processes and procedures. Ability to safely utilize hand tools. Demonstrates quality work through accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Exhibits efficiency in problem solving by identifying & resolving problems in a timely manner. Exhibits adaptability by positive response to frequent change, delays, or unexpected occurrences. Contributes to building and participating in a positive team environment. Indicators & Attributes for Success: Attention to detail Ability to stay on task and follow through Safety conscious Customer/Client focus Positive attitude Prioritization & organizational skills Accountability Ethical practice Strong team-player Primary Responsibilities: Sandblasting, prepping and manually painting processes of components during and after mechanical assembly of oilfield equipment. Synchronizes speed and movement of paint spray gun to manually and properly applies primer, paint, and clear coat according to specifications. Demonstrates ability to repair any type of flaw / imperfection during paint process. Knowledge of wet mil and dry mil coating thicknesses. Completes any required paint / sandblast documents. Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret drawings / specifications and work instructions. Operates and effectively uses hand and power tools and all applicable measure equipment. Organizes, coordinates, and cleans workstation. Maintains cleanliness of paint equipment / tools and keeps in good working condition. Maintains a personal commitment to the Liberty safety culture. Regularly operates in a highly safety-conscious environment, outdoor and indoor. Regularly be exposed to cold, heat, dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, reaching, etc. with arms, hands, and fingers.
