Stand up Forklift Operator

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Stand up Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Stand up Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of the production support team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate safety consciousness, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Stand up Forklift Operator

Location: Rainsville, AL

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour

Shift: Days 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday
Overtime: Some required afternoon and Saturday overtime may be required at times depending on production needs

What's the Job?

• Supply lines with raw materials to support manufacturing processes
• Operate stand-up and LP forklifts safely and efficiently
• Maintain and organize inventory in stockrooms and other designated areas
• Participate in physical inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to safety policies, including proper use of PPE and lift assistance for heavy loads

What's Needed?

• Ability to complete Forklift Certification requirements
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work well with diverse teams and adapt to changing priorities
• Prior stand up forklift operation experience required
