Job Description

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Manager to join our Industrial Center of Excellence (ICoE) national practice. This role will support a growing portfolio of industrial and advanced manufacturing projects and offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. This position will include advisory interaction with our clients leadership and executive teams, guiding them in decisions around their most important CAPEX initiatives.

Your Impact

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex industrial facilities projects from planning through execution, while managing client relationships, project teams, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

+ Primary driver on critical pursuits, responsible for developing and implementing winning strategies for expanding our business and facilitating team growth.

+ Build and manage a book of business as Program Manager/Leader, mentoring other PMs into similar roles growing our large client base

+ Foresees and anticipates project issues, provides guidance to mitigate risks

+ Lead and manage industrial facilities projects, including advanced manufacturing, distribution, and process-driven facilities

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget are met

+ Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, engineering, and specialty consultants

+ Oversee project planning, scheduling, and staffing

+ Financial performance management for both projects and teams

+ Support business development efforts, including proposal development and client presentations

+ Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with WSP standards

+ Mentor and support junior project managers and technical staff

+ Collaborate closely with regional and national ICoE leadership

Qualifications

+ Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field

+ Minimum 10+ years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing facilities-related projects

+ Proven experience leading project management and multidisciplinary design teams including direct
