Are you a soon-to-be graduate from an Aircraft Structures Technician program (or a similar discipline) looking to launch your career in aerospace? Join our team and work hands-on with the world-class DHC-515 Firefighter (Waterbomber) in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta.
We're hiring motivated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians – Structures to support production and major modifications on De Havilland aircraft.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assist in the installation of structural components and modifications on the DHC-515 aircraft
- Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to assemble, install, or repair aircraft structures
- Learn and apply industry-standard structural practices using sheet metal tools, jigs, fixtures, and aerospace equipment
- Participate in the Final Assembly Line (FAL) process and collaborate with skilled teams to meet production timelines
- Ensure all work aligns with quality and safety standards, reporting any concerns to senior technicians
- Maintain accurate documentation of tasks completed and follow all safety protocols in a fast-paced production environment
Who You Are:
- A soon-to-be graduate from an Aircraft Structures Program from SAIT, Okanagan College, Mohawk College, or Fanshawe College
- Eager to gain real-world experience and build your skills in a professional manufacturing setting
- Comfortable working from technical documentation and following detailed instructions
- A team player who thrives in collaborative, hands-on environments
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work safely with tools and equipment
- Physically able to work at heights or in confined spaces when required
