Management Consultant Position Overview This role requires 100% domestic travel throughout the year , with consultants typically departing on Sunday and returning home on Friday . As a Management Consultant, you will partner closely with clients to implement operational improvements, drive transformational change, and deliver measurable business results. This position focuses on hands-on execution, working directly with frontline teams and leadership to improve performance, accountability, and organizational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities DB&A delivers value through practical implementation and sustainable operational improvements by:
- Executing client goals, objectives, and operational processes through hands-on frontline coaching and engagement
- Partnering directly with frontline employees and leaders to improve management practices and behaviors on a daily basis
- Evaluating resource utilization to identify operational efficiencies and performance improvement opportunities
- Building strong relationships and maintaining effective communication with clients at all organizational levels
- Proactively addressing challenges, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating solutions
- Strengthening frontline accountability related to actions, responsibilities, and performance expectations
- Supporting the development of frontline supervisors to become proactive, solutions-oriented leaders
- Driving employee engagement and facilitating team workshops to improve collaboration and results
- Delivering relevant operational metrics and performance data to support informed decision-making across leadership levels
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Implementing proven management systems and best practices to support long-term success
- Encouraging employee involvement and giving frontline teams a voice in operational improvements
- Removing barriers to execution by fostering alignment and support from middle and senior leadership
- Helping organizations establish sustainable cultural change that delivers lasting results
- Bachelors degree in Business, Management, Engineering , or a related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of direct supervisory or management experience and 5+ years of professional experience following college ; experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred
- Demonstrated success in managing conflict, building consensus, and facilitating collaboration among cross-functional teams
- Ability to balance operational execution, problem-solving, and client relationship management in fast-paced environments
- Proven ability to establish personal and professional credibility with internal stakeholders and external clients at all levels
- Strong analytical, observational, numerical reasoning, leadership, and business problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and effectiveness in high-pressure, rapidly changing environments
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting while providing and receiving constructive feedback regularly
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- 100% domestic travel required
- Weekly travel schedule with departures on Sunday and return travel on Friday
