Job Description: Operate a press bake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.

Manual Press Brake Operator Job Duties:

Operate manual press brakes (mechanical or hydraulic) with no CNC or automated controls

Set up press brake jobs from scratch: tooling selection, punch/die installation, and alignment

Manually set up bend depth, backguage, and stops using hand controls and measurements

Perform trail bends and manual adjustments to achieve correct angles and dimensions

Read and interpret blueprints and bend drawing without relying on programmed sequences

Use manual measuring tools (protractor, angle finder, calipers, tape measure, square, etc.)

Troubleshoot bend accuracy issues thorough hands on adjustments, not program edits

Run short runs and one-off parts requiring set up changes

Maintain consistent quality through operator skill and experience, not automation

Job Requirements

Manual Press Brake Operator Required Experience: Minimum 2 years operating manual press brakes (mechanical or hydraulic) Hands on experience setting up press brake jobs from scratch with no CNC control Ability to manually set up and adjust be
