This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and efficient environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc. This may include manual mills, lathes, or grinder. Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. Maintain documents and communication with job lead or supervisor as required. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce according to specifications. Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result Assist Maintenance and tooling department as needed Maintain and execute housekeeping Maintains tools and equipment. Complete task/ reporting documentation and distribute. Complete Work Orders or projects. Special Projects as assigned. Recommend and implement improvements for tooling and equipment. Upholds corporate policies/procedures. Follow the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards set by state/federal law and external certification bodies. All other duties as assigned Job Duties: 80% Setting up and running CNC or manual machines. 10% Troubleshooting tooling & equipment 5% Consulting with engineering and maintenance. 5% Paperwork and other miscellaneous tasks Special Circumstances of the Job: Works overtime as required and assigned. Sounds and Noise Levels could be Distracting to job function. Exposure to Hazardous Equipment - Must work in a safe manner and follow assigned company Lockout/Tagout rules. Kneeling, Crouching, or Crawling; Using Hands on Objects, Tools, or Controls; Bending or Twisting the Body is necessary. Use of common Protective and/or Safety Attire. Needs to assess and pickup up heavy objects properly and use proper judgment in determining if a assistance by either man and or machine is needed to handle the object. Qualification Requirements: Proven experience as CNC operator Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings Proven experience with manual lathes, mill, surface grinders.
