Planner - Production

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Control the ordering processes and bookings, in order to ensure manufacturing of products as agreed upon in the order freeze.
  • Check whether production orders are correctly booked and if order is in accordance with current delivery.
  • Overview the costs of an order in terms of quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure materials availability.
  • Generate and analyze production performance reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Refine sequencing on machines on shift basis.

Your Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Associate's degree, or a high school diploma with proven relevant experience
  • Experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment, utilizing scheduling reports to ensure on-time shipments
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing routings, bills of materials (BOM), and QS/TS 9000 requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer applications, including mainframe systems, PC-based software, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic knowledge of plant operations; capable of understanding and adapting manufacturing procedures and timelines
  • Able to lift moderately heavy items as required
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in business or similar
  • Multiple years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
  • SAP knowledge
