Under limited supervision, Participates in the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures. Prepares operational analyses and reports to the Line Lead and follows current procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of operations. Employees must complete required hand-repetitive motions to meet Company expectations.
Responsibilities- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
- Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
- Ensure all materials and products are properly closed to prevent leaking and meet required specifications.
- Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
- Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
- Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.
- Cannot give a product from the line to others.
- Ensure proper GMP is being followed - maintain clean area in production.
- Responsible for coming to line prepared with proper GMP attire.
- Produce quality products - no mindless hand-moving.
- Move materials for completed products and packages to established locations.
- Utilize machinery in the best and proper way.
- Break down unused components (cardboard - place in blue bin for recycling
- Responsible for cleaning the line after the run.
- Bi-weekly cleanings
- Work inside the filling room with proper GMP attire
- Make Sure proper components are being used (including Master Shipper Labels)
- Perform squeeze on test tubes to ensure the product is not leaking and meets the required specifications.
