Kitting Technician - 1st Shift

The Kitting Technician is responsible for handling and preparing a wide range of differing textiles and materials to produce kit components in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

1st shift: 6.00am - 14.45pm with 45mins break

Base location: Tallassee, Alabama, US

Salary: $17 per hour with Attendance bonus

Main Responsibilities

Velocity Components is looking to recruit Kitting Technicians in the Tallassee, Alabama locality. This is a full-time role with flexible shift patterns offered to match your lifestyle. Full training and development will be offered.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Handling and preparing a wide range of differing textiles and materials to produce kit components in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ensure parts and installation kits are properly identified and labelled.
• Ensure correct certification paperwork is maintained with parts throughout kitting

process.

• With training, interpret detailed diagrams and drawings to prepare materials for precision cutting.
• Completing all required paperwork for kitting and certification.
• Adhering to all Health and Safety Regulations as directed.

Requirements/Skills

• Ideally, but not essential, experience in working in a manufacturing type of environment.
• Self-starter requiring minimum supervision and able to perform job assignments with a very high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to interact with a wide variety or people.
• High level of manual dexterity and detail orientation.
• A keen eye for detail and a quality focussed approach to producing accurate work are essential.

Hours & Work Conditions

• 1st shift - 6.00am - 14.45pm with 45mins break - $15 per hour.
