Position Overview:

This role is responsible for overseeing all production floor operations, ensuring safety, quality standards, and compliance are consistently met. It includes managing staff scheduling, training, and supervision, monitoring performance and efficiency, handling inventory and supplies, and coordinating with other departments such as maintenance and engineering. The position also focuses on enforcing policies, driving continuous improvement, and supporting overall business growth and operational success.

Job Title: Production Manager

Salary/Hourly Rate: $75,000-$85,000 annually

Schedule: 1st shift, must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage scheduling of employees on production lines.
• Manage employee training.
• Monitor employee safety.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, document non-compliances, and take corrective actions.
• Supervise production line crews, operators, and all production leadership employees.
• Supervise production reporting.
• Assist with inventory management (correct materials being used, FIFO, etc.)
• Learn and manage all software, programs, and additional equipment which supplement the production lines.
• Monitor operational activities such as line utilizations and efficiencies (Continuous Improvement) and lead meetings with management on these topics.
• Work with production scheduling and inventory personnel to ensure correct quantity of materials available and correct quantity of product produced.
• Manage the purchasing of production supplies.
• Work with engineering/maintenance on temporary repairs to equipment.
• Work with all the company's departments to help grow the business and improve the financial performance of the company.
• Perform special projects as requested by management; and
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a production manager or supervisor.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Manufacturing background required.
• Must have flexible availability, as this is not a 9-5 position.
• Previous experience troubleshooting equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment, working alongside maintenance mechanics and engineers.
