Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can independently set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to hold tight tolerances, and make program edits at the machine as necessary. The ideal candidate is experienced in machining complex parts from materials like Inconel, Titanium, and Molybdenum.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes with minimal supervisionInspect and verify dimensions using precision measuring toolsMaintain close tolerances and surface finishes as specified on aerospace and defense componentsRead and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructionsMake program changes and offsets as needed to optimize performanceTroubleshoot machining issues and suggest improvementsMaintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocolsCommunicate effectively with team members, quality, and engineering

Qualifications:

3+ years of CNC machining experience (mill and/or lathe)Proficient with setup, tooling selection, and inspection techniquesStrong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&TAbility to make CNC program edits at the machineExperience working with tight tolerances (.0005")Knowledge of exotic materials like Inconel, Titanium, and Molybdenum preferredSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable
