Responsibilities of the CNC Machining Technician

* Help set up and operate CNC machining centers

* Perform operations such as edging, beveling, diameter generation, and profiling on glass, ceramic, and crystalline substrates

* Perform basic in-process dimensional inspection

* Learn and follow SOPs, basic machining drawings, blueprints, and job travelers

* Maintain tools, machines, and work areas in accordance with safety and quality requirements

* Keep accurate records

* Work as part of a team to meet goals

Qualifications of the CNC Machining Technician * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to handle delicate parts carefully * Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn * Basic shop math skills * Experience operating any CNC machining centers (HAAS, Mori Seiki, or similar) or machining non-metallic materials. . * Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, indicators, or other precision inspection tools a plus * Exposure to machining drawings, blueprints, or travelers preferred * Familiarity with computers, CNC controllers, and basic data entry. The CNC Machining Technician works Monday through Friday from 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
