Role Overview
Turn complex engineering designs into precise, production-ready CNC programs. In this role, youll drive machining strategy, validate programs on the shop floor, and help improve manufacturing performance from prototype through full-rate production.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines
Interpret engineering drawings and define machining approaches
Select tooling, speeds, and feeds to balance precision and efficiency
Validate programs through machine prove-outs and setup support
Troubleshoot machining and production issues in real time
Create and maintain clear manufacturing work instructions
Train and support machine operators as needed
Assist with new equipment setup and production ramp-up
Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes
Support tooling and fixture development for repeatability and performance

Minimum of 3 years experience programming CNC machines (3-, 4-, and 5-axis)
Proficiency with CAM software for CNC programming
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and define machining strategies
Experience validating CNC programs (prove-outs) and troubleshooting production issues
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with engineering and production teams
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Ability to work on-site full-time Nice-to-have skills that strengthen candidacy but are not required:
Experience with Siemens NX CAM software
Familiarity with Mazak / Mazatrol controllers
Experience with tooling or fixture design
Background in process improvement or lean manufacturing
Experience supporting new product introduction or production ramp-up
