The Opportunity

Qube Bulk is seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Kalgoorlie.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a qualified Heavy Road Transport Mechanic with strong supervisory experience and a commitment to safety, reliability and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise an intimate team and daily workshop maintenance activities and allocate tasks
  • Ensure high standards of safety and maintenance compliance
  • Coordinate scheduling and prioritisation of repairs and breakdowns to maximise fleet availability
  • Manage workshop inventory, parts ordering and equipment requirements
  • Provide hands-on support, mentoring and technical guidance to team members
  • Drive workshop efficiency and reliability outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Trade qualification as Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Extensive experience maintaining heavy vehicles and mobile equipment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
  • Previous workshop or maintenance leadership experience PREFERRED
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • HR Driver's Licence minimum (MC Licence highly regarded)
  • Experience with Volvo and/ or Mack trucks required.
  • Experience with pressure tanker trailers and ISO equipment is advantageous
